Although he still isn't walking he gets along quite well (and quite quickly) by crawling. I pulled out the exersaucer a few weeks ago to lend to a friend and Mason discovered that it is quite fun to crawl underneath and play around.

A Little of This and That
It seems as though Mason is growing up a little more each day. Scott and I continue to be amazed by all of the new things that Mason learns every day. Mason's current interests include playing with his cars and trains and saying "vroom, vroom" as he pushes them around the floor, waving "bye bye" whenever he sees vehicles drive by (this must be because he waves goodbye to Scott every day when he leaves for work), reading books, dancing, acting out songs such as Twinkle Twinkle and the Itsy-Bitsy Spider (I need to get this on video one of these days), making animal sounds when we ask him to (of course only we can distinguish the difference between a monkey and a cow), being outside and so much more.

Mason is such an easy-going, happy and affectionalte little boy. He is always laughing and smiling and LOVES to give kisses.
He is almost off of bottles completely. The only bottle he gets is at bedtime and we are going to phase this out next week. We can't seem to get him to drink cold milk though so we continue to warm his milk even for the sippy cup. Drinking from the sippy cup also only works when he is laying down as he won't tip the cup back in order to reach the milk. I would welcome suggestions from anyone if you have any.
Today was a very exciting day: Mason met his brand new cousin Noah for the first time. Noah was only 6 hours old and Mason was very intrigued by this little bundle. I am sure that the two of them will have lots of fun playing together in the not-so-distant future. Congrats Rebecca and Joe!!
Well, this tuckered mom is off to bed. Until next time...
