First Visit to the Park
We took Mason to the park for the first time the other day and although I wouldn't say that he "loved" the experience he didn't cry. I am sure that the park will soon be one of his favourite places to go to! The great thing about this park is that it is right beside the library so we can stop for books on the way home.
He's still a little too small for the baby swing. We actually thought that he might be able to slip through the leg holes!

Fall is Here
This past weekend Mason and I sat on our front porch enjoying one of the last really warm September days here at the beach.
Here's our "pumpkin" with the pumpkins! (I'm really not that organized yet that I have Halloween decorations out. My mom bought these Jack O'Lanterns at a yard sale for me.)
Hmmmmm..... Pumpkin or Leaves? What do I want?
As you can see from the picture, Mason is now working on being able to sit up by himself.

Mason's First Sleepover
Visiting Mommy's Friends
A few weeks ago Mason and I visited with two of my girlfriends, both of whom live a great distance away. Brenda and her daughter Bradyn were home from the West coast and Chrissy came from Trenton (her two kiddos were in school). We met at my sister's place and although our visit was short, it was so nice to see them and for Mason to meet my pals from university.

We had a great pizza lunch!
Another New Contraption
I can't believe how much our home environment has physically changed in the last few months! We now have (thanks to Luke and Ava) an exersaucer for Mason to play in. Now that Mason wants to stand all of the time we take turns putting him in the Jolly Jumper and the exersaucer.
The exersaucer can even go outside! Mason was watching daddy put together his new jogging stroller (which he hasn't warmed up to yet) last week.
Hi Mommy!!!!

I Want to Stand Up!
Over the past month Mason has been wanting to "stand" on us whenever we hold him so we thought that it was time to get him in the Jolly Jumper. The first day he lasted all of 2 minutes and he just hung there and cried. By the third day he was starting to get the hang of it and began to move himself around in little circles. He still isn't jumping a lot but he loves to spend time upright in the jumper.
Mason and daddy sharing a story.
This is fun!!!! (This was the second time that Mason was in the jumper so we had his feet make contact with the floor.)
