Doctor Visit Update

Our visit to the opthalmologist went well. We were told that Mason definitely has a sty (which was reassuring) and that it is not affecting his eyesight. The sty could be removed although it would be simply cosmetic and would require Mason to be "put under" which has risks. Scott and I have decided that we will not take this risk and will continue to monitor the sty. The doctor told us that Mason could have the sty for a few years and that it may even come and go during this time. We have the option of having it removed in a few years (he would still have to be put under) or we can simply leave it and if Mason wishes to have it removed when he is older than we would also consider that option. We are just relieved to know that he is healthy and that his eyesight is not impaired. Can you see his two teeth in this picture?
